Nike présente l’Engineered Mesh

On a déjà aperçu plusieurs sneakers conçues avec l’Engineered Mesh dont des Nike Air Max 1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Max 95, Nike Air Max 97.. mais Nike vient de présenter officiellement sa nouvelle technologie.

La technologie a été pensée pour augmenter la flexibilité et l’aération, sans pour autant mettre de côté la durabilité et la robustesse.

L’Engineered mesh va faire ses débuts à partir de janvier 2013, notamment avec ces Nike WMNS Air Max 90 EM pour femmes inspirées du coloris OG « Laser Pink ». (UPDATE 21/12/12: les sneakers sont maintenant disponibles sur le Nikestore à 150€).

Originally used in performance running footwear, this updated version of traditional spacer mesh improves breathability for wear during warmer months and flexibility through the elimination of layers and stitching. And Air Max has never been lighter thanks to the collection’s leaner profile.

Tight and loose perforation patterns are “zoned” to reimagine the color blocking and gradient panels of some of the world’s most revered sneaker designs.
